The desert environment around the house is wild and varied. Desert animals can be watched from the house such as deer, foxes, camels, sheep, and goats with their Bedouin shepherds leading them. Eagles and falcons come around frequently. Desert flowers bloom after the winter rain and every couple of years the desert is covered with snow. |

The climate is always dry, warm during the day and cool at night, clean of ecological pollution. Arad and the area of the Judiah desert is well known for it's multi religious spiritual roots and there are many archaeological sites to visit in the near area. The Dead Sea is only 20 km away, the lowest place on earth with it's special sea of minerals, hotels and clinics that treat heart problem, psoriasis and cystic fibroses patients. |
